One of two sister scarves woven in my studio in the Yorkshire Dales. This scarf is handwoven in 100% Shetland wool in colours inspired by the May bluebell woods. Both a functional warm garment for the cooler months, as well as a bespoke piece of handwoven art. Although two scarves were woven on the same warp, they are both unique in design and arrangement.

When weaving any piece of cloth I allow the colours, textures, and yarn combinations to guide the process, this always ensures a completely authentic creation and a piece of work that will never be recreated or found twice.

This is a bespoke piece of cloth that will endure many lifetimes if it is cared for properly.
